I feel humanity is at a turning point and the pandemic made me think more than ever about the emotional and mental state of the modern human. About how progress affects the experience of life.

This is when I realised the existence of Homo Pauperis, a new species speculated to have derived from Homo Sapiens as an evolution or mutation of the latter.

They anatomically resemble modern humans, yet they have a distinct new physical feature; a pocket sized side marsippus.

The evolution/mutation is said to have happened parallel to Homo Sapiens’ growing fetishistic need for acquiring, storing and accumulating inanimate material.

The language for this album was made up of sounds of a Prophet REV, grimey at times bass and kicks, strings and the magical santur. I hope it resonates.
